Orch-OR and microtubules. Each neuron receives and integrates synaptic inputs as membrane potentials. Subsequently, actin filaments connect to cytoskeletal microtubules in main dendrite. Dendritic microtubules (right) are arranged in local networks, interconnected by microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs).
